Triangle United Club Policies

Through our mission of providing all families a positive, healthy, and progressive environment, the club has a few policies to ensure all that are involved with any of our programs, are in a safe environment.

Staff Background Requirements

Each year, as members of NC Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, MLS NEXT, and DPL, Triangle United requires all of our staff (anyone that works with one of our teams) to go through a background check and to be cleared through the U.S. Center for Safe Sport

Anti-Bullying Policy

Intentional, persistent and repeated pattern of committing or willfully tolerating physical and non-physical behaviors that are intended, or have the reasonable potential, to cause fear, humiliation or physical harm in an attempt to socially exclude, diminish or isolate the targeted athlete(s), as a condition of membership are prohibited. Bullying does not include group or team behaviors that (a) are meant to establish normative team behaviors, or (b) promote team cohesion.

Players and coaches may return to the field 30 minutes after the last lightning strike was seen and the last thunder was heard.

COVID-19
updated 3/8/24

The club follows all CDC and NCDHHS guidelines for Covid-19.

When people get sick with a respiratory virus, the updated guidance recommends that they stay home and away from others. For people with COVID-19 and influenza, treatment is available and can lessen symptoms and lower the risk of severe illness. The recommendations suggest returning to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing medication.
