Recreational Programs

Triangle United is proud to offer 4 different recreational programs at this time around the Western Triangle area of NC. 

The club does a lot of cross play between the groups and each fall and spring, we host a recreational festival for all rec teams to attend

Chatham Soccer League (Chatham/Pittsboro)

Chatham Soccer and Triangle partnered together in the spring of 2020 to help run and organize recreational soccer programming in the surrounding Chatham area.  Chatham Soccer League has served the youth soccer players of Chatham County since 1993. The Chatham Soccer League runs recreational leagues in Chatham County, NC. Leagues are divided into age specific divisions, with youth teams playing small-sided soccer (3 vs 3, 4 v 4 up to 9 v 9) to promote player development and enjoyment of the game.

TAGS (ALL Girls)

TAGS was a collaboration between Rainbow Soccer and TU @ Woodcroft to bring together an all girls program for girls 7-14 years of age that were not interested in a coed environment.  In 2021, TAGS expanded into Chatham to create opportunities for girls to play in an all girls league. Triangle Area Girls Soccer (TAGS) was formed in the summer of 2017 to serve the youth female recreational soccer players in Chapel Hill, Chatham, and Durham. The program is a collaboration between Chatham Soccer League, Rainbow Soccer, and Woodcroft soccer to offer a girls only league in an effort to grow the girls game and provide quality recreational soccer to those in the area.

Rainbow Soccer (Chapel Hill)

Rainbow Soccer and Triangle United have been partners since 2005 to bring recreational soccer to the Chapel Hill area.  Rainbow Soccer serves more than 1,100 children each season. Our organization is proud to work with families that have deep roots in the area with generations of Rainbow supporters and participants. We count many nationalities represented among our population of players and embrace the multi-cultural experience that comes along with the sport of soccer.

Woodcroft (Durham)

Woodcroft serves Southern Durham and has been a part of Triangle United since 2005.  Woodcroft Soccer is run through Triangle United and has been serving players of South Durham since 1987.  Games and practices take place at different locations throughout South Durham and offer players from ages 4-15, the ability to play soccer locally.   There are cross over games with Rainbow and Chatham Soccer for our 10-15 year old players.
