The Advanced Development Program (ADP) is for players currently 5 to 9 years old that have demonstrated the ability and desire to compete at a higher level of soccer. This program is a great stepping stone for players coming from playing recreation soccer and want to improve their skills and eventually move on to play in our competitive Challenge or Classic leagues. ADP concentrates on the growth and development of each individual player within the team structure. Practice sessions will focus heavily on the technical skills a player needs to be successful while also giving attention to the tactical side of the game.
Woodcroft soccer is a part of the Triangle United family. Known as "Triangle United at Woodcroft" since Triangle United started running the program in 2006, this program provides a fun place to play soccer each season for hundreds of kids ages 3 to 14. One weekday practice session and one weekend game is the normal weekly schedule, depending on the program you choose. There are also some weekends each season where teams are scheduled to play two games, one Saturday and another on Sunday.
YDA Juniors are for players 4-7 years old (born between 1/1/20010 - 12/31/2013) that have demonstrated the ability and desire to develop at a higher rate than a recreational player. The Youth Development Academy Juniors program will focus on the development of individual technical skills in a team environment. Each YDA JRS team will have a dedicated parent or volunteer coach who will assist in training the teams and coach them during games. The program will have multiple technical directors who will run one technical session each week for the players and also oversee the optional Friday sessions.
