Here is an updated practice protocol
We follow the CDC, NCDHHS, as well as what our local government guidelines are. Should things change, we will notify everyone of our new policies and how we are moving forward.
Now, we do hope that families are respectful of those that want to wear a mask and ask that families be respectful of boundaries/social distancing.
Here are a few details (and a few new ones now that 12 and older players can get vaccinated) regarding our Covid-19 policies.
- Please make sure to 'check-in' prior to each practice and answer all of the questions regarding your child's health on the PlayMetrics App (if you do not have the free app yet, please download onto your phone). We will also use this app for field cancellations among other things.
- If your child has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 and are not yet vaccinated, please keep them home for 14 days after the last contact with that person who has COVID-19. Now, the CDC does state that players could return to training after day 7 if they receive a negative test result (test must occur on day 5 or later)
- Players that have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 and are fully vaccinated and show no symptoms of COVID-19, should get tested 3-5 days after their exposure and if the test is negative, the player can then return to practice.
