2 Players Named NSCAA Academic All Americans

Brianna Kropinack and Sarah Reynolds, members of the Triangle United ’98 Gold team, have been selected for the 2017 NSCAA High School Scholar All-American Team. They were two of eighty-five student-athletes selected for the team nationwide, of which only forty-nine were female student-athletes. To be nominated and selected, they had to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better (on a 4.0 scale) through the first semester of their senior year, had to have demonstrated recognized excellence in high school soccer, and had to have performed community service at the local, regional, or national level. Haroot Hakopian, the National Chair of the NSCAA, believes, “…this is the most prestigious honor awarded by the NSCAA at the High School level. It highlights the core of the values required to be a true student-athlete.” Each of the girls will receive a certificate and a gift, and they will attend the NSCAA All-America Luncheon in January. Congratulations!
